Ok.... when the wines get tough, the tough get a new liver. I shouldnt be writing this since it will be coming out in the guide in Oct, but I thought Id give you a heads-up
130 wines yesterday and all poo-poo. Lazio is going to be the worst of Italy this year. Che schiffo. not one... ok one interesting wine.
On the other had CALABRIA is amazing. Lots of really interesting wines with grape varities only your grandfather from Otranto has heard of. +100% in points for the new wines, great vintage, wines with personality (you might not like them all), great structure, well made... WELL DONE!
